I think the first time I became aware of Eddie Ruscha, was back in 2008, when he released a 12" on Whatever We Want Records, under the moniker of "Laughing Light Of Plenty". That was (as you might remember), a collaborate effort between Eddie and Thomas Bullock. Since then, I've been following him closely and have more or less bought everything he's released, both under his own name and as Secret Circuit.

His "Who Are You" album on Tim Sweeney's Beats In Space Records from 2018 was probably my favorite album of that year. I pretty much decided I had to get him to do me a remix at some point after hearing that.

"Atlantis" is one of the my personal favorites from my own catalogue. It was released as the B-side on "Lost My Way To Baia" (ITG014) this past summer. When I finished it back in the spring of 2019, I immediately had a future Secret Circuit remix in mind. It just seemed to be suffiently weird and melodic to be a track Eddie could work his magic on.

I'm exceptionally pleased with the result and happy to share it with you. Sun drenched guitars: check. Weird percussion: check. Lovely synth lines: check. Tying it all together to create a work of magic: yes, that's a check too!
